ONE THOUSAND CRANES: Download, Print And Fold Origami

Japanese legend promises that anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes will be granted a wish by a crane, such as long life or recovery from illness or injury. The crane in Japan is one of the mystical or holy creatures and is said to live for a thousand years.  Artists have created beautiful designs that can be made into origami cranes. A donation to the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund will allow you to download a design with instructions to guide you in making a crane. When you have folded your crane, add a photo of it to the 'Paper Cranes For Japan' Facebook group. If you take a photo with Instagram tag them with #1000cranes.
